Hand modeled stoneware mug, suitable for use in microwave and dishwasher.
On the surface, Norma is coated with a slip produced using Mexican volcanic rock, natural pigments and British clays. Upon contact with fire, these materials reveal themselves on Norma’s body, covering her with freckles.
On the interior a delicate layer of glossy transparent glaze is applied to allow for everyday use. All glazes are non-toxic and food safe.
